The 6th International Meeting on Antimicrobial Peptides (IMAP 2016) will take place over 2 1/2 days in Leipzig, Germany in September 2016 and will build on the success of the previous meetings held in London, UK (IMAP 2015), Graz, Austria (IMAP 2014), London, UK (IMAP 2013) and Leipzig, Germany (IMAP 2012 and IMAP 2008).
Leipzig University is located in Leipzig in the Free State of Saxony, Germany, and is one of the oldest universities in the world and the second-oldest university in Germany.
IMAP 2016 is organised and hosted by
Leipzig University.
IMAP 2016 is held under the auspices of the Protein & Peptide Science Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Peptide Symposium (34th EPS) / 8th International Peptide Symposium
also being held at Leipzig University. This gives you the
opportunity to stay on in Leipzig to attend the EPS. For more

The Public BALI Conference takes place on the afternoon before IMAP 2016 in the same location.
The presentations will focus - not exclusively – on biofilm formation, prevention and killing.
Dr. Andrej Trampuz, Head of the Center for Septic Surgery Charité - University Medicine Berlin will give a keynote talk in a joint session with IMAP 2016.
IMAP participants are eligible to attend this conference and
present their posters without any additional fee.
