Trieste is served by its own airport with direct flights to several European cities. The airport has a frequent direct rail connection to Trieste Centrale, journey time 30 minutes.
Venice Marco Polo airport is about 2 hours by train from Trieste and has a wider range of flight connections.
We expect the meeting will finish by 15:00 on Friday September 8 to allow time to catch a return flight on Friday evening so you don't need an extra night in Trieste - unless you want more time to enjoy this beautiful city!
